Soak and sprout, or cook and serve!
Soak & Sprout Ingredients: Pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, wheat, barley, oat groats, flax seed, buckwheat, canola seed, canary seed, milo, red millet, and white millet.
To Sprout:
Take desired portion and rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. Fill bowl with twice the amount of water and let mix soak overnight.
Day 1- Drain completely, and rinse thoroughly. Seeds are now germinated and ready to serve as is, or to sprout longer, set the strainer over a bowl and leave them.
Day 2- Your seeds will now have tail buds emerging! Rinse thoroughly and serve, or to sprout longer, repeat Day 1 until desired sprout length is reached.
Cook & Serve Ingredients: Brown lentils, mung beans, adzuki beans, yellow split peas, green split peas, whole green peas, barley, safflower, and ancient grains brown and black rice.
To Cook:
Wash seeds until water runs clear, and soak overnight in double the amount of water. Drain, rinse and set aside. Bring water to a boil and add soaked seeds. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 hours, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, and checking the tenderness of beans by pressing one against the side of the pan. When you can easily mash a bean, they're done! Drain and rinse in cool water. Cool completely before serving.
