Pigeons are amazing, intelligent and loyal companions, that often get a bad reputation as being a dirty bird or pest. This couldn't be further from the truth. Pigeons are a large, quiet, and gentle bird that very much enjoy the companionship of their humans. If you are looking for a larger bird that won't bite, and isn't too loud or messy, but still wants to snuggle with you, a pigeon just might be what you're looking for!

All Pigeon babies are banded for identification for the life of the bird, and to ensure they aren't thought of as a wild pigeon if lost or released. Contrary to popular internet rumors, closed bands are completely safe. There is no split that can get caught on things, and they cannot be closed tighter on the leg. Our bands are lightweight material, and each printed is printed with our aviary name, the year of hatch, and a number for identification.

We do not condone, nor sell, our Columbidae to anyone seeking birds for release at weddings, funerals, or other events, or to consume. Our birds are bred for companions, breeders and exhibition purposes only. All Columbidae are bred indoors, not in outdoor sheds or coups.

We selectively breed our Columbidae here by choosing a male and a female to pair, and caging them together for bonding to ensure known genetics. Pairings may be different each time, if a pair hasn't bonded, or to achieve and continue various traits we are looking for. One male may be bred to several different females, with breaks between breedings.
