About Us
 
I am a professional breeder, and proud member of the AFA and ASA. I specialize in raising exotic birds typically not found at other aviaries for lifelong companions and conservation of the species. I work with both the general public, and fellow breeders looking to add to their bloodlines and continue the conservation efforts of a species.

I do not, and will never, raise large macaws or cockatoos because they are the most often abandoned, surrendered, or sold from home to home birds, and every bird rescue is packed full of them. They are also often sought after by new bird families simply for their size, flashy colors, as a status symbol, or their talking ability. My focus is on conservation, and I refuse to contribute further to any impulse or status symbol situation, and instead hone my focus on the small to medium species that are more likely to be kept in their "Forever Homes".
 
While I will always raise some of the more commonly known birds such as cockatiels and budgies, I choose to continue raising education on species that are both gorgeous and less common, and that do well in a mixed flock home. I do not breed aggressive species. 

When shopping for a new feathered companion, make sure you watch the wording. Many breeders will use the term "hand fed" and people often think this means they will get a sweet, snuggly baby. That is not the case. Hand fed simply means they are fed by hand and not by their parents. Simply filling a baby with food and placing them back in the brooder does not make a sweet, human imprinted baby. I HAND RAISE every baby with love and gentle teaching, to ensure that you take home the best and well adjusted babies possible.
