The Flame Macaw is a stunning second generation mutation cross between a Catalina macaw and a Greenwing macaw. They are a color cross, not a true "hybrid". (In a true hybrid, sterility is a common factor, such as with the Liger and Mule). The Flame macaw is not sterile, and is therefore not a true hybrid.
